Hanna Abozaid, LMT

Hanna Abozaid is a licensed massage therapist in Austin, TX. She
began cultivating an interest in massage as a child and by early teens
developed an interest in alternative medicine and health. Hanna
completed massage therapy training at the Florida School of Massage
in 2012. Her training consisted of Swedish massage, Connective
Tissue, Reflexology, Polarity Therapy, Neuromuscular Triggerpoint
Therapy, Sports massage, and various hydrotherapy techniques. She
is certified in Nuat Boran, also known as Thai Yoga Massage.

Prior to attending massage therapy school, Hanna graduated
Magna cum Laude from Arkansas Tech University, earning her BA in
Rehabilitation Science with emphases on aging and social services.
She participated in a 3-month internship at Texas Department of Aging
and Disabilities Services, where her responsibilities were assisting
the supervisor with managerial duties and case workers with intakes
and interviews. In her internship, Hanna also focused on the elderly
community, by visiting and volunteering at senior centers, respite
programs, and nursing homes.

Hanna’s experiences include working as a substitute teacher and
private tutor. She taught grades k-12, including special education,
and tutored elementary students as well as college-aged international
students. To enhance her practice and life, Hanna practices yoga and
plays the saxophone. She is also an avid science fiction aficionado.
